You Must not said in below line

The above might not be exactly true in today’s world where medical wonders have made people healthier.

The Gurbani was true at the time it’s written, is True now, and in future it would be true. Please keep in mind before writing above sort of explanation. Please consult somebody who have studied Guru Granth Sahib ji thoroughly and also the Human anatomy and then they can explain you proper meaning.
i am appreciating your are doing very good Seva but keep the respect of Guru Ji’s word.

    Regards

I am sure your comment (explanation) has been misunderstood, by our brother Harvinder.

Awat is referring to the different stages of growth. Nowadays people live longer or do not age too early. For example at 80 some people are still fit to work. And some people are bedridden even before 90. Medical advances have transformed people’s lives though generally depending on people, some age gracefully while others may not. At 50 nowadays many people are hale and healthy.

Thanks for your engagement. We are always looking forward to discussions. GurFateh ji.

I think age is just a number. If we are living our lives joyfully and as per the teaching of gurbani, and with lots of laughter we will retain our youth. I have seen many aged people looking very young. With daily exercises, yoga practice and deep breathing and nutritious diet, one can reverse aging.
But mind what gurbani says that”je so variyan jeevna bhi tan hosi kheh”
The point is are we leading meaningful life or not. are we spreading the message of gurbani, are we contributing anything to the world?

Guru Nanak Sahib Ji in this Sabd is reinforcing natural phenomena of human life taking place in the temporary word. The essence of this Sabd is in the last line of the Sabd, “ਢੰਢੋਲਿਮੁ ਢੂਢਿਮੁ ਡਿਠੁ ਮੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਗੁ ਧੂਏ ਕਾ ਧਵਲਹਰੁ ॥੩॥”
    To comprehend the essence, Guru ji wrote the next Sabd,”ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੧ ॥
Creating life constituted physical characteristics. Sense organs like eyes for vision, tongue for speech, ears for hearing help develop the consciousness. feet for walking, hands for earnest living and getting provisions. The one that provided all the resources is hardly appreciated and one lives mostly ignorant and indulged in wrong deeds. When the created artificial empire is shattered, it never gets reconstituted. Without the Guru there is no honor, and without honor one passes on in disgrace.
Guru Sahib in the Baltan Sabd reiterates various aspects of human life but the essence is to be comprehended from the last line.

Very strong and beautiful message is conveyed. Life has to be purpose driven. And the purpose has to be discovered by ponderous thought process, again dependent upon one’s level of maturity.
Gurbani is the anchor which leads us to the purpose.
Alas…. Most of us, that includes me, are incapable of reaching out to the divine message hidden in Gurbani.
Your awordathought, taking cues from Gurbani, has been doing wonders in igniting the thoughts
